Director, David M. Hammond
David Hammond is associated with the Office of the Commandant, US Coast Guard as a Senior Program Manager in the Office of Civil Engineering's Shore Facilities Capital Asset Management Strategic Initiative. Prior to joining government service, he was a project manager for Fortune 500 projects in land planning, urban development and environmental projects. Mr. Hammond
pioneered innovative development of hybrid natural/man-made drainage systems for aquifer recharge in south Florida as well as the use of the
computer for specification and quantity take-offs.
Mr. Hammond earned a B.S. degree from Cornell University as well as a Master of Science degree from Syracuse University in Information Resource Management. He is a graduate of the Information Resource Management College at the National Defense University and holds a Department of Defense Chief Information Officer Certificate. He maintains professional registration in Maryland and Florida as well as membership on the Federal Facilities Council's Emerging Technologies Committee. He can be reached at: dhammond@comdt.uscg.mil
