Peter Lufkin, Director

Peter. Lufkin is a founder and principal with Whitestone Research. Mr. Lufkin's 22 years of experience includes both research and consulting in regional economics, facility finance, and defense-related issues. Mr. Lufkin directed development of the MARS commercial software for facility maintenance cost forecasting, and is also co-author of the annual Whitestone Building Maintenance and Repair Cost Reference (tenth edition). He was a member of the Government Accounting Standard Board's task force on capital asset reporting (GASB 34) and recently served on the Facility Management Panel convened by the Secretary of the Navy.

Mr. Lufkin holds a B.A. from University of California at Berkeley, an M.A. from University of California  Santa Barbara, and Ph.D. studies from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business.
