Mr. Lufkin is a founder and principal with Whitestone Research. Mr. Lufkin's 22 years of experience includes both research and consulting in regional economics,facility finance, and defense-related issues. Mr. Lufkin directed development of the MARS commercial software for facility maintenance cost forecasting, and is also co-author of the annual Whitestone Building Maintenance and Repair Cost Reference (tenth edition). He was a member of the Government Accounting Standard Board's task force on capital asset reporting (GASB 34) and recently served on the Facility Management Panel convened by the Secretary of the Navy.
