At their May 2000 Board meeting, The Construction Sciences Research Foundation, Inc. elected a new Director as well as re-elected Officers and Directors. Their terms began July 1, 2000.
NEW DIRECTOR NAMED Robert W. Johnson, AIA, FCSI, CCS, CCCA, Vice President of RTKL Associates, Inc., an international architecture, planning and engineering firm headquartered in Baltimore, has been named to the Board of Directors. RTKL is one of the world's leading multi-disciplined design firms with offices maintained in Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, Memphis, Washington, DC, London, Madrid, Tokyo and Hong Kong. Mr. Johnson has more than 40 years experience as an architect, owner's representative, general contractor and specification consultant. He has served as president of the Construction Specifications Institute, the Design and Construction Quality Institute and as vice president of the American Society for Quality, Design and Construction division. |

OFFICERS RE-ELECTED Douglas W. Day, FCSI, CCS, Principal of Douglas Day Associates, an architectural and specification consulting firm headquartered in Foster City, CA, was elected President. Michael D. Dell'Isola, P.E., C.V.S., Senior Vice President of Hanscomb, Inc., an international construction consulting firm, was elected Vice President, Finance and Administration. David E. Boelzner, Esq., Principal of the law firm Wright, Robinson, Osthimer & Tatum, with offices in Washington, DC, Richmond, Los Angeles and San Francisco, was elected Vice President. Charles Chief Boyd, FCSI, CCS, Principal of The Boyd Group, an architectural firm headquartered in Tulsa, OK, was elected Secretary/Treasurer. NEW DIRECTOR ELECTED Stephen M. Campbell, Director, Planning and Project Development, The Johns Hopkins University was elected Director. DIRECTORS RE-ELECTED Arthur J. Miller, PE, FFES, FCSI, Senior Vice President of AVART, Inc. an E/A firm in Miami, FL, past president of the Construction Specifications Institute and CSRF, was elected Director. A. B. Cleveland, Jr., Senior Vice President of Bentley Systems, Inc., was elected Director. Colin Gilboy, P.E., CCPR, President of 4specs.com, an Internet directory for specified construction products was named Director. David Stutzman, RA, CSI, CCS, President of FOCUS Collaborative, Inc., a specification and architectural/engineering quality assurance consulting firm with offices in New Jersey, Ohio and Pennsylvania, was elected Special Director. CSRF is a not-for-profit construction industry research foundation headquartered in Baltimore, Maryland. Among the programs developed by CSRF under the CONCOM® (CONstruction COMmunications) program are SPECTEXT® and SPECTEXT® II Master Guide Specifications, and other research, specification management and construction industry programs.
