CSRF Publishes New Trenchless Construction Specifications In January 2003

CSRF introduced new state-of-the-art trenchless construction specifications in the January 2003 Edition published recently. Horizontal Directional Drilling and Microtunneling specifications enable Engineers, contractors, sewer and water districts and public authorities to utilize a safer, more efficient and cost effective alternative to traditional trenching and tunneling methods.

Worker safety, increased productivity, reduced operational disruption in environmentally sensitive or congested areas, reduced street cutting and repair, reduced soil disposal, and the ability to work in a wide range of soil and water table conditions are only some of the advantages SPECTEXT® subscribers and their clients will benefit from utilizing these techniques.

SPECTEXT® Horizontal Directional Drilling and Microtunneling Specifications are written in the CSI three-part format, conform to CSI MasterFormat™ 1995 and follow CSI's SectionFormat™ and PageFormat™ guidelines. These new Sections are available in a variety of SPECTEXT® and OUTLINE Specification Libraries. Details regarding trenchless construction specifications may be obtained from the CSRF Support Center by calling 1-877-773-2898.
