President Arthur J. Miller, PE, FFES, FCSI presents a plaque to Past President Douglas W. Day, FCSI, CCS in appreciation of his service to the Construction Sciences Research Foundation, Inc. Mr. Day will continue to serve on the CSRF Executive Committee as Immediate Past President.

The Construction Sciences Research Foundation, Inc. (CSRF) at their May, 2004 Board meeting elected Officers and Directors who will take office on July 1, 2004.
Newly Elected
Newly elected as President is Arthur J. Miller, P.E., FFES, FCSI. Mr. Miller is Senior Vice President of AVART, Inc., an E/A/ firm in Miami, FL and is Past President of the Construction Specifications Institute, as well as several other Societies. Mr. Miller indicates that he intends to expand CSRFís database programs (SPECTEXTÆ) into new construction markets as well as enabling interaction with other
popular construction industry design programs. Technical compatibility of programs is essential to allow sharing of vital design and construction information.

Newly elected as Vice President of Finance and Administration is Raymond K. Best, P.E., President of The Environmental Company, Inc. In Charlottesville, VA. Mr. Best served as a Director for CSRF for two years prior to his election to the Executive Committee.

Newly elected to the Board of Directors is Greg Maust, P.E., CSI, CCS, Township Manager of Spring Garden Township, York, PA., bringing the perspective of local government, as well as Engineering Practice, to the CSRF Board.

Campbell, Associate Vice President of Facilities Management, Cornell University in Ithaca, NY; Secretary/Treasurer Charles Chief Boyd, FCSI, CCS, Principal of Thalden-Boyd Architects in Tulsa, OK. Douglas W. Day, FCSI, CCS, President of Douglas Day Associates in Foster City, CA serves as Immediate Past President. Serving on the CSRF Board of Directors are:

Michael D. Dell'Isola, PE, CVS, FRICS, Vice President of DMJM in Arlington, VA, Colin Gilboy, PE, CCPR, President of 4Specs.com in Heber City, UT, Robert W. Johnson, AIA, FCSI, CCS, CCCA, President of Johnson & Johnson Consultants, LLC in Baltimore, MD; A.B. Cleveland, Jr., Senior Vice President of Bentley Systems, Inc. in Exton, PA; David E. Boelzner, Esq. of the law firm Wright, Robinson, Osthimer & Tatum, in Richmond, VA; and Special Board Member David Stutzman, RA, CSI, CCS, President of FOCUS Collaborative, Inc., a specification and architectural/engineering quality assurance consulting firm with offices in New Jersey, Ohio and Pennsylvania.
