Arthur J. Miller, PE, FFES, FCSI is Senior Vice President of AVART, Inc., an E/A firm with headquarters in Miami, FL. Mr. Miller enjoys a 50- year engineering career, responsible for many innovative technical achievements in space technology and infrastructure design.
In addition to owning and managing his own consulting engineering firm, he has been active in professional society activities, including significant responsibilities in NSPE, FES, FICE, ASCE, SAME, CSI and CSRF. Mr. Miller served as Chapter President of CSI, FES and SAME and as National President of CSI and then for 22 years as President of CSRF. After a period
as President, Mr. Miller currently serves the Foundation as Immediate Past President.

Mr. Miller is the recipient of numerous industry awards and has made presentations and published many industry articles on civil engineering and the construction industry. Mr. Miller holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering and an M.S. in Structural Engineering from the University of Illinois, Champaign, and is renowned for his design work on the main airframe of the B-52 aircraft, as well as unique and innovative designs for NASA's Apollo and Space Shuttle Programs.
