CSRF Introduces SPECTEXT® Trenchless Construction Specifications
Baltimore, MD - The Construction Sciences Research Foundation, Inc. (CSRF) announced the expansion of the SPECTEXT® Master Guide Specification Library by the addition of new specifications on state-of-the-art trenchless construction techniques. New SPECTEXT® horizontal directional drilling and microtunneling specifications offer engineers, contractors, sewer and water districts, and public authorities more efficient, safer and cost effective alternatives to traditional trenching and tunneling methods. Horizontal directional drilling, pipejacking and microtunneling technology provides more productive installation methods with several distinct advantages. Underground pipe repair, replacement and renovation, conduit installation, and sewer installation and renovation are some of the construction situations in which these technologies will provide increased efficiency, safety, environmental and financial benefits. |
