Alton B. (Buddy) Cleveland, Jr. has served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Bentley Software since August 2000. Bentley Software is the Bentley division responsible for the strategic direction and management of all of its software products and development
activities. From June 1999 to August 2000, Mr. Cleveland served as Senior Vice President of Bentley's Model Engineering Business Group.
The founder of Jacobus Technology, Mr. Cleveland served as its President from its inception in 1991 until June 1999. Before founding Jacobus Technology, Mr. Cleveland had a 20-year career with Bechtel Corporation,
where he last served as Manager of Automation Technology. He holds a bachelor's degree in Engineering from Johns Hopkins University.
